Equipment for Rent

New in 2017 is our Great Plains Seeder (Model 2507NT). The rental rate is $12 per acre. Each person using the drill needs to have appropriate liability insurance and is responsible for transporting the drill to their planting site. A drill rental agreement must be signed before transporting the drill along with a payment of $50 (nonrefundable). A 55 HP tractor with one remote hydraulic valve is required. It has a working width of 7 ft. and a transport width of 8 ft., plants most small grains and grasses including warm season grasses. A 1/2 ton or larger truck is recommended to transport the seeder, with trailer hitch to connect by hitch pin recommended. No-till Seeder Application

Our Great Plains No-Till Drill (Model 705NG) is available for rent. The rental rate is $12 per acre. Each person using the drill needs to have appropriate liability insurance and is responsible for transporting the drill to their planting site. A drill rental agreement must be signed before transporting the drill along with a payment of $50 (nonrefundable). A 55 HP tractor with one remote hydraulic valve is required.It has a working width of 7 ft. and a transport width of 9 ft. 8 ins., plants 10 rows on 8 in. spacing, plants most small grains and grasses including warm season grasses, weighs 3500 lbs. and to transport is, a 1/2 ton or larger truck with a trailer hitch to connect by hitch pin is recommended.  No-till Drill Application

The tree planter attaches to a 3-point hitch of tractors with category 1 and 2 hitches. A tractor with approximately 35 HP is required for most soil conditions. The planter can plant hardwood or evergreen seedlings on 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, or 12 foot spacing.

The tree planter travels on the road in a trailer, and each person renting the tree planter is responsible for transporting it to and from his/her planting site. The rental cost is $.05 per tree, a minimum of $25. Each person using the tree planter needs to have appropriate liability insurance.  Tree Planter Application
