Wetland

A wetland is like a pond but with shallow water at various depths. It can be dugout or include a dam. Wetlands can be designed as habitat for either waterfowl or general wildlife. A water control box is often included in the design to allow for lowering water levels to attract different species. See our Wetland Fact Sheet for more information.
